Each year, the Kuala Lumpur International Audio/Visual (KLIAV) show enables a variety of exhibitors to showcase products from some of the largest names in the audio/visual industry. Jaben Networks Malaysia was there again this year, with much more products to showcase than any year prior.

This year, the company took the opportunity to officially launch the Calyx M, a high-end portable audio player that offers arguably the best audio quality in a portable form factor. It supports audio formats up to 32-bits and 384kHz sampling frequency. When it comes to battery life, the Calyx M is able to offer playback up to 10 hours on a full charge. There’s 64GB of storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via an SD card, or 128GB via microSD. Of course, there’s an integrated Digital-to-Analog converter and an ARM Cortex A5 processor.

In addition to launching the Calyx M, Jaben Networks Malaysia also held a DIY workshop during the show. The workshop allowed attendees to assemble a pair of Final Audio inear earphones. While we didn’t get to assemble the earphones from scratch, we managed to learn how the final touches are placed on earphones like the Final Audio Heaven II.

Similar to the shows before this, Jaben was present once again to offer audio enthusiasts a selection of great bundles for high-end headphones and earphones. They also managed to secure a larger space this time around, allowing them to showcase even more products. Among the highlights include the Final Audio Pandora Hope VI, the Calyx M, and Sony’s new Walkman ZX 1.
