Nikon’s Capture NX-D software goes live
Capture NX-D Software Officially Released
Earlier this year, Nikon introduced the beta version of Capture NX-D, an image processing software that’s optimized for the “processing and adjusting of RAW images captured with Nikon digital cameras”. Last month, Nikon officially released the live version of this software, which is available as a free download at nikonimglib.com/ncnxd.
Capture NX-D supports many features, including batch image processing, filtering, as well as the ability to adjust exposure and white balance. In addition, you can also correct lateral color aberration and vignetting in JPEG and TIFF files.
The software – currently Version 1.0.0 – has the following PC requirements:
• Microsoft Windows 7 and newer or OS X version 10.8 and newer
• Intel Core i5 or better
• 2GB for 32-bit and 4GB or more
for 64-bit versions Windows
• 800MB HDD space
Nikon’s Capture NX 2 will no longer be updated now that Capture NX-D has gone live.
