Pluto has been our Solar System’s last holdout. Even though it was first discovered back in 1930 by Clyde Tombaugh, a glimpse of the former planet turned dwarf planet has eluded us. That is, until NASA’s New Horizons craft swung by the icy star back in July and beamed back the first-ever images. Here’s how it was done.
