Olympus Officially Releases the OM-D E-M10 Mark II in Malaysia
Recently, Olympus unveiled the second-generation E-M10 camera in Malaysia. Known as the OM-D E-M10 Mark II, this camera is not a replacement for the E-M10, but it sits comfortably between E-M5 Mark II and the original E-M10, due to the features that are on offer.
Just like the well-received E-M5 Mark II, this 16.1MP premium compact camera is equipped with the company’s renowned 5-axis In-Built Image Stabilization (IBIS), TruePic VII image processor, a 2.36M-dot OLED viewfinder, a 3-inch touchscreen and a built-in flash.
The E-M10 Mark II is able to capture highquality photos in a wide variety of situations, but thanks to its 5-axis stabilization system, it excels when shooting videos. Aside from that, this camera is also able to record timelapse videos in 4K resolution. Shooting video with the OM-D E-M10 Mark II is a breeze as it offers the choice of 24, 25, 30, 50 or 60 frame rates, and the users can also benefit from its stabilization system.
Standing out among the features of this camera is the AF Targeting Pad. With this, focusing on your subject is made easier, because the LCD screen actually becomes a touch pad to manually determine the focus point.
Available now, the OM-D E-M10 Mark II will cost you RM2,699 (body only). If you would like to get the camera together with a lens, the OM-D E-M10 Mark II is priced at RM3,399 with the 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ, and RM4,299 with the 14-150mm f/4-5.6 II.
Olympus’ more affordable camera in the OM-D series has now been refreshed.
The LCD screen doubles as the AF Targeting Pad, one of the more notable features onboard.
