by Having access to a fast and reliable Internet connection throughout a home by using a single router is no small feat, not without a powerful router and that can get very costly. A more affordable and practical solution than running LAN cables throughout a home is using a powerline extender. POWERLINE EXTENDER In this Learn, we are going to take a look at the D-Link Powerline AV 500 Wireless AC600 Extender and the D-Link Powerline AV2 600 Gigabit Adapter. These are devices that rely on a home's existing power lines to extend the reach of a home's network. For best performance, make sure that both adapters are connected to a wall socket directly and not a power strip or adapter. The performance of the adapter also depends on the house wiring. It is also best that both adapter are plugged into the same power line.
