IOS 9.2 Brings USB Camera Adapter Support to iPhones

HWM (Malaysia) - - APERTURE - NEWS -

Last month, Apple released the iOS 9.2 update, which mainly addressed the issue of certain iPad Pro devices being randomly unresponsive. More importantly for shutterbugs though, is the fact that the update allows the iPhone to support the Lightning-toUSB Camera Adapter.

Thanks to this, those with an iPhone 5 (or later) are now able to directly transfer images from a camera to their phones. Prior to this, only the iPad allowed this. The Lightning-toUSB Camera Adapter costs RM139 in Malaysia. There’s also the Lightning-to-SD Card Camera Reader, which allows iPhone or iPad users with Lightning connectors to read SD cards. Locally, it is priced similarly to the Lightning-to-USB Camera Adapter.

Both the Lightning-to-USB Camera Adapter and Lightning-to-SD Card Camera Reader are priced at RM139 and can be used on iPhones.
