AGILE VISUAL ANALYTICS
Oracle’s Latest Release Promises to Deliver Visual Simplicity, Business Agility and Scalable Performance
Oracle recently announced the availability of Oracle Business Intelligence 12c (BI 12c), which allows people across the organization to leverage a single integrated platform for self-service, visual data discovery, and quickly find answers to pressing business questions while in the office, or on the go.
Oracle BI 12c offers integration of data visualization and self-service data blending with enterprise analytics capabilities in the same offering, and intuitive search-driven analytics. It also has optimized in-memory processing and simplified administration, and a streamlined upgrade process.
“Our customers recognize that making informed decisions at the speed of today’s business requires a no-compromise analytics platform – one that empowers people with visual analytics, without compromising scale and reliability. Oracle BI 12c provides an enterprise-class visual analytics platform with everything customers need -- rich visual analytics and extreme performance, with simplified administration and governance,” said Hari Sankar, Group Vice President, Business Analytics, Oracle.
The new solution is compatible and can be integrated with the full breadth of Oracle’s analytics offerings, both on-premises and in the cloud. Together, Oracle BI 12c lets users leverage visual analytics, as well as curated dashboards and analysis across personal, departmental and enterprise data. It also advances the state-of-the-art with an integrated platform that delivers self-service visual analytics, a re-imagined user experience, optimized in-memory processing, builtin advanced analytics, and simplified administration.
“We were impressed with what we saw in the Oracle Business Intelligence 12c Beta program. Data mashup is a big win for the business, allowing people to upload Excel data and combine results with existing OBI data for quick analysis and data visualization means users can quickly create meaningful, versatile dashboards without getting too technical,” said Arvinder Singh, BI Solutions Architect, Land O’Lakes.
