HWM (Malaysia) - - TEST -

This was honestly a little surprising to us, given that the EX-ZR3500 didn’t quite have the highest resolution sensor of the shootout. In terms of consistency of exposure and the accuracy of the automatic white balance systems though, the EX-ZR3500 was easily one of the best. Images from the camera also constantly came in with the most detail captured, and the camera was also one of the best in low light. Both points we think can probably be attributed to the slightly larger 1/1.7-inch sensor, as well as the choice made to stick to a sensible level of 12MP given the smaller sensor. Other plus points are the relatively easy-to-use interface and the full range of shooting modes available; especially important for compact cameras as they have to appeal to users of all levels.
