Sure, there have been a few un­der­de­vel­oped games along the way, but it’s in­creas­ingly com­mon to see pas­sion projects come

and that fa­vors light­ning-fast re­flexes and tac­ti­cal aware­ness. The open­ing cin­e­matic does an ex­cel­lent job of paint­ing a bleak, apoc­a­lyp­tic world, in­ter­spersed with im­agery of shad­owy beasts, colos­sal ti­tans, ris­ing obelisks, and death.

Much of the game­play re­volves around com­bat and ex­plor­ing four key ar­eas sur­round­ing the cen­tral town. In­ter­est­ingly, the game does away with text, and in­stead re­lies on pic­tures and ab­stract icons to get the point across (save for the oc­ca­sional but­ton prompts). In seek­ing a cure for his cu­ri­ous af­flic­tion, our tit­u­lar pro­tag­o­nist will have to take on waves of en­e­mies us­ing both a sword and firearms. Given the lim­ited HP, you will have to rely on well-time dashes, com­bustibles, and skill­ful ammo re­plen­ish­ment to sur­vive for another bat­tle. by
