Speak­ing of pre­de­ces­sor, the HyperX Cloud II comes with a 7.1 USB sound card, with a great num­ber of con­trols at your dis­posal. With the Cloud Re­volver though, you get a split­ter that splits the sin­gle 3.5mm jack into two, giv­ing the head­phones and the microphone their in­di­vid­ual plugs. You still get the in­line con­trols, but you lose the USB
