ASUS VivoMini UN65H

HWM (Malaysia) - - TEST - By design, the ASUS VivoMini UN65H looks stylish, compact, and will not look out of place on a shelf alongside high-end home theater appliances. On the top of the device is ASUS' signature ‘Zen-inspired spun-metaleffect' finish. Turn to the back and you'l

machine for a home or small office.

For the laidback experience, the VivoMini is compatible with Remote Link, which means you can control the PC from your smartphone. It also comes preloaded with ASUS Media Streamer, which lets you stream media content to your PC. Pair with its dualband 802.11ac compatibility, and you'll get to enjoy entertainment at full resolution without wires attached.

Those looking for a productivity PC will be happy to know that the VivoMini comes with Intel Small Business Advantage, ASUS Business Manager, ASUS Remote Management Tool, ASUS WebStorage, and a suite of business and enterprise applications. It is also fitted with a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port.

To see if the VivoMini is truly capable of delivering on its claims, we ran it through our benchmark tests. The 6th generation Intel Core i3-6100U processor in our review unit is very capable, but initial updates can take close to a full day to be completed.

In our everyday use, the VivoMini performs well. The system shows no slowdowns while web browsing, media streaming, or while running the productivity suite. The performance that we saw is reflected in its benchmark results. It scored 2,537 in PCMark 8's Home Accelerated test and 3,545 in the Work Accelerated test, respectively. These scores are up to par with today's productivity PCs.
