One of the most challenging aspects of mobile photography is getting good exposure in low-light environments. With the iBlazr 2, however, you no longer need to worry about shooting in the dark. In this article, we will show how you can make use of this companion lighting device with your smartphone.

What is iBlazr 2?

Before we jump into the capabilities of the iBlazr 2, let's first talk a little about what this device really does. In simplest terms, it's an auxiliary light source that connects to your Android or iOS device via Bluetooth. Once connected, it will be able to provide illumination (up to 300 lux, to be exact) for well-lit photos, even in the dead of night.

There are two ways that the iBlazr 2 provides illumination – the first is via continuous lighting, and the other via short burst. Needless to say, continuous lighting mode is for recording videos, while the short burst mode is for snapshots.

What's great about the iBlazr 2 is that you can customize the color temperature of the lighting, from 3,200K to 5,600K. Experienced photographers will find this feature highly useful, especially when shooting under street lights.

The iBlazr 2 comes with a smartphone mount, a diffuser, a charging cable, and a swivel latch.
