Huawei P10 bests iPhone in DxOMark Mo­bile

The P10 scores 87 points in DxO Mark Mo­bile, higher than the iPhone 7.

Huawei is def­i­nitely mak­ing waves with its dual-cam­era sys­tem on the P10. Re­cently, DxOMark Mo­bile, one of the most trusted sources for re­views on cam­era phones, awarded the P10 with a score 87 points. In com­par­i­son, the iPhone 7 was awarded 86 points.

Ac­cord­ing to the re­viewer, the P10 has a sub-score of 88 points, and “is ex­cel­lent, thanks to gen­er­ally good ex­po­sures in all con­di­tions, in­clud­ing ex­treme low light, and good color ren­der­ing with ac­cu­rate white bal­ance.”

The dual-cam­era sys­tem on the P10 fea­tures Le­ica Summilux-H lenses and an aper­ture of f/1.8. There are two lenses on­board – a 20MP mono­chrome sen­sor and a 12MP RGB sen­sor that comes with optical im­age sta­bi­liza­tion (OIS).

The Huawei P10 is a 5.1-inch phone with a Full HD panel, and it runs on the Kirin 960 octa-core SoC. Other spec­i­fi­ca­tions in­clude up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of stor­age. As for soft­ware, it's on An­droid 7.0 and EMUI 5.1.

With a score of 87, the Huawei P10 beats the iPhone 7 in DxOMark Mo­bile.
