A look at Hasbro’s Transformers: The Last Knight toys.

HWM (Malaysia) - - SPECIAL - by Ian Chee

The Transformers franchise has always been one to go hand in hand with toys, be it the animated series back in the 90’s or the blockbuster movies of today. And with the latest film – the fifth in the series – coming to cinemas on June 22, it’s as good a time as any to put your own imagination to work as you relive – or even reimagine – the intense action and nail-biting moments with Hasbro’s Transformers:

The Last Knight toys and merchandise.

Optimus Prime Voice Changer helmet It’s one thing to have memories of a character’s persona in the film, and another entirely to embody it. And for that, there’s the Optimus Prime Voice Changer helmet. Put on this First Edition Collectible helmet, and speak with the voice of Autobot leader Optimus Prime, leading them onto a victory march of your own.

The helmet features a voice changing device that lets others hear the voice of Optimus Prime instead of your own when you don it, giving you his voice in addition to his visage. Voice changer aside, there are also 21 button-activated Transformers sound effects and phrases. You don’t have to worry about size either, as the helmet comes with adjustable straps to let you find the best and most comfortable fit for you.

Of course, a Transformers figure would deserve the name only if it can transform between two forms just as its silver screen counterpart. And Hasbro has got you covered, on both sides of the war. Some are returning characters that you’ll recognize from previous films, while some are making new appearances.

The Premier Edition figures include Bumblebee, Drift, Sqweeks, Grimlock, and Optimus Prime representing the Autobots, as well as Barricade, Berserker, and Megatron for Decepticons. Each of these are meticulously designed with details to match their in-movie look, and are articulate enough for you to pose them according to your favorite battle scenes, or even some that you’ve come up with in your imagination.

With Optimus Prime playing a greater role than ever before in Transformers: The

Last Knight, he is available in two variants – one in standard colors, and another in his Shadow Spark look.

Transformation between their two forms are simple and quick, ranging from 10 steps for the simplest, to 30 for the most complex, which isn’t really all that difficult either. Each comes with additional accessories in the form of weapons that they use in the film.
