Booming good times.

Those who enjoy today’s hard-hitting music will appreciate Sony’s new EXTRA BASS lineup, consisting of the SRS-XB40, SRS-XB30, SRSXB20, and the tiny but loud SRS-XB10. These portable wireless speakers are light, water-resistant, and features great battery life. Thanks to Wireless Party Chain, the XB20, XB30 and XB40 can interconnect with each other via Bluetooth to synchronize light and sound.

SRS-XB40

The SRS-XB40, which measures 100 x 279mm, sports a mix of perimeter line-light, speaker light and strobe flash for that lightshow feel, where colors ranging from pure white to rainbow are synchronized to the music. The SongPal mobile app – also compatible with XB30 and XB20 – can be used to control music playback and lighting. The XB40-exclusive Fiestable app, meanwhile, allows for DJ-like lighting and color controls.

SRS-XB30

The 82 x 228mm SRS-XB30 can be used to charge your smartphone by connecting it to the USB port – a trait shared with the XB40. Like the XB40, the XB30 features multicolored line-light and strobe flash for that mini lightshow effect. The speaker is also rated to last up to 24 hours for all-day listening.

SRS-XB20

Unlike the previous two models, the 68 x 198mm SRS-XB20 opts for a single color line-light that not only compliments the color of the unit, but also keeps the dance party going for up to 12 hours. Two XB20 units can be paired with one another to deliver stereo sound too.

SRS-XB10

Don’t let its petite size fool you, as the SRS-XB10 packs powerful bass delivery for on-the-go listening. Measuring 91 x 75mm, the XB10 comes handy with a silicon strap that doubles as a speaker stand. Placing the speaker horizontally works best with personal listening, while vertical mode is ideal when you’re with your squad. It also serves as a speakerphone when paired with a smartphone.
