The L6160 sat­is­fies the most ba­sic of print­ing needs – it scans, copies, and does both uni-di­rec­tional and bi-di­rec­tional print­ing. It is Wi-Fi and Eth­er­net en­abled as well, in ad­di­tion to print speeds of up to 15 ipm black / 8.0 ipm color in sim­plex, and 6.5 ipm black / 4.5 ipm color in du­plex. In terms of copy­ing speeds, the L6160 is rated at up to 11 ipm black / 5.5 ppm color in sim­plex. Round­ing up the fea­tures are a 2.4-inch color LCD panel and flatbed color im­age scan­ner.


Much like the L6160, the L6170 also prints, scans and copies, but it comes with Auto Doc­u­ment Feeder (ADF) ca­pa­bil­ity. In ad­di­tion to uni-di­rec­tional and bi-di­rec­tional print­ing, the Ep­son Con­nect-en­abled printer also sup­ports wire­less, cloud, and mo­bile print­ing. The ADF ac­cepts pa­per thick­ness from 64 to 95 g/m², and has a pa­per ca­pac­ity of 30 pages. Its max­i­mum print res­o­lu­tion is 4,800 x 1,200 DPI, with vari­able-sized droplet tech­nol­ogy.


The L6190 is a com­bi­na­tion of the L6160 and L6170, with added fax func­tion­al­ity. ction­al­ity. It not only has Su­per Group 3 fax sup­port, but also ca­pa­ble of trans­mit­ting and re­ceiv­ing faxes es via PC, along with ad­dress book, k, de­lay send, au­to­matic re­dial, and broad­cast fax fea­tures. The e fax can re­tain up to 1.1MB of stor­age, equiv­a­lent to mem­ory y of up to 100 pages. The L6190 also so has a pa­per in­put ca­pac­ity of 250 sheets.
