PRUDENTIAL BAGS TWO BEST BRAND AWARDS

Recently, Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB) was honoured with two awards recognising the company’s strong brand presence and positioning among the public and its innovative and effective branding approach. The awards were given by the Reader’s Digest 2012 Trusted Brands and The Brand Laureate Awards on two separate occasions. This is the fifth consecutive year that Prudential was awarded the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Gold award in the insurance category and the third for the insurer in the Brand Laureate Awards. The Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Award recognises brands which excel in trustworthiness, quality, value, innovation and social responsibility, while the Brand Laureate Award recognises excellence amongst the best of brands in Malaysia and the world. It is awarded to deserving brands from multinationals, public-listed and governmentlinked companies that have shown best practices in branding and met the stringent selection criteria. The Brand Laureate recognised Prudential as Malaysia’s Top 10 Most Admired Brands. Prudential celebrated its 88th anniversary in Malaysia this year. According to Charlie Oropeza, chief executive officer, the recognition inspires the company to forge ahead and continue with innovative initiatives to further strengthen its brand. He attributed the company’s success to the relentless commitment from its employees and agency force, as well as unwavering support from customers.
