Re­cently, Pru­den­tial As­sur­ance Malaysia Ber­had (PAMB) was hon­oured with two awards recog­nis­ing the com­pany’s strong brand pres­ence and po­si­tion­ing among the pub­lic and its in­no­va­tive and ef­fec­tive brand­ing ap­proach. The awards were given by the Reader’s Di­gest 2012 Trusted Brands and The Brand Lau­re­ate Awards on two sep­a­rate oc­ca­sions. This is the fifth con­sec­u­tive year that Pru­den­tial was awarded the Reader’s Di­gest Trusted Brands Gold award in the in­surance cat­e­gory and the third for the in­surer in the Brand Lau­re­ate Awards. The Reader’s Di­gest Trusted Brands Award recog­nises brands which excel in trust­wor­thi­ness, qual­ity, value, in­no­va­tion and so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity, while the Brand Lau­re­ate Award recog­nises ex­cel­lence amongst the best of brands in Malaysia and the world. It is awarded to de­serv­ing brands from multi­na­tion­als, pub­lic-listed and gov­ern­mentlinked com­pa­nies that have shown best prac­tices in brand­ing and met the strin­gent se­lec­tion cri­te­ria. The Brand Lau­re­ate recog­nised Pru­den­tial as Malaysia’s Top 10 Most Ad­mired Brands. Pru­den­tial cel­e­brated its 88th an­niver­sary in Malaysia this year. Ac­cord­ing to Char­lie Oropeza, chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer, the recog­ni­tion in­spires the com­pany to forge ahead and con­tinue with in­no­va­tive ini­tia­tives to fur­ther strengthen its brand. He at­trib­uted the com­pany’s success to the re­lent­less com­mit­ment from its em­ploy­ees and agency force, as well as un­wa­ver­ing sup­port from cus­tomers.
