PRU­DEN­TIAL’S NEW CHIEF MAR­KET­ING OF­FI­CER

Pru­den­tial As­sur­ance Malaysia Ber­had (PAMB) has pro­moted Fiona Liao to the role of Chief Mar­ket­ing Of­fi­cer (CMO). She moves up from the po­si­tion of Di­rec­tor of Brand and Com­mu­ni­ca­tions and will take up her new role with ef­fect from 1 July 2012. Her new role en­tails lead­ing PAMB’s mar­ket­ing and com­mu­ni­ca­tions func­tion which is crit­i­cal to ac­cel­er­ate the growth of its cus­tomer-cen­tric busi­ness. She will also sup­port ex­ist­ing cor­po­rate so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity pro­grammes and iden­tify rel­e­vant chan­nels to en­hance the com­pany’s brand value and en­gage­ment. Liao has over 15 years of ex­pe­ri­ence in brand man­age­ment, com­mu­ni­ca­tions, strate­gic plan­ning, as well as prod­uct mar­ket­ing and devel­op­ment. Prior to join­ing PAMB, she was the Group Prod­uct Man­ager of an in­ter­na­tional ex­press and lo­gis­tics com­pany. Some of Liao’s ma­jor ac­com­plish­ments in PAMB in­clude lead­ing the com­pany to win­ning the 2010 Gold Effie award for its PRUmy Child Cam­paign.
