PRUDENTIAL’S NEW CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad (PAMB) has promoted Fiona Liao to the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). She moves up from the position of Director of Brand and Communications and will take up her new role with effect from 1 July 2012. Her new role entails leading PAMB’s marketing and communications function which is critical to accelerate the growth of its customer-centric business. She will also support existing corporate social responsibility programmes and identify relevant channels to enhance the company’s brand value and engagement. Liao has over 15 years of experience in brand management, communications, strategic planning, as well as product marketing and development. Prior to joining PAMB, she was the Group Product Manager of an international express and logistics company. Some of Liao’s major accomplishments in PAMB include leading the company to winning the 2010 Gold Effie award for its PRUmy Child Campaign.
