Young ASEAN Man­ager’s Award 2012 is

Insurance - - ANNOUNCEMENT -

The ASEAN In­surance Train­ing & Re­search In­sti­tute (AITRI) and ASEAN In­surance Coun­cil (AIC) are very proud to or­gan­ise the Young ASEAN Man­ager’s Award 2012. We would like to in­vite all el­i­gi­ble young man­agers in ASEAN in­surance economies to sub­mit their en­tries. This year, the award cer­e­mony will be held in Bangkok, Thai­land on 13 De­cem­ber 2012. The pres­ti­gious award was in­tro­duced by the AIC to hon­our out­stand­ing young man­agers for their achieve­ments, con­tri­bu­tions and ded­i­ca­tion to the in­surance in­dus­try and to recog­nise their po­ten­tials as fu­ture lead­ers in ASEAN in­surance economies.

The Judges

The pro­fes­sional judges for this award will be prom­i­nent lead­ers from the in­surance in­dus­try. All en­tries will be eval­u­ated by a panel of judges. Three fi­nal­ists will be short­listed and an­nounced on our web­site, The fi­nal­ists will be in­vited to at­tend a se­lec­tion in­ter­view in Thai­land.

An­nounce­ment of the Win­ner

The win­ner will be an­nounced dur­ing the open­ing cer­e­mony of the 15th ASEAN In­surance Reg­u­la­tors and the 38th ASEAN In­surance Coun­cil meet­ings in Thai­land on 13 De­cem­ber 2012.

Cri­te­ria/Who can En­ter

Open to all man­agers work­ing in the in­surance in­dus­try within the ASEAN Re­gion. The can­di­date must be a man­ager who: is 40 years old and be­low (as at 1.1.2012). Nom­i­nees born be­fore 1 Jan­uary 1972 are not el­i­gi­ble to en­ter

is an ASEAN na­tion­al­ity has been in the in­surance in­dus­try for a min­i­mum of FIVE (5) years is com­pe­tent and has shown out­stand­ing lead­er­ship within the com­pany and the in­dus­try is in­no­va­tive and cre­ative in man­ag­ing peo­ple and the busi­ness has been suc­cess­ful in un­der­tak­ing very dif­fi­cult man­age­ment or busi­ness chal­lenges, and has been con­tribut­ing pos­i­tively to pro­mote the im­age of the in­surance in­dus­try

Com­plete the nom­i­na­tion form. Forms can be down­loaded from our web­site, Must in­clude an es­say submission based on five (5) ques­tions (in English). En­tries may in­clude ad­di­tional sup­port­ing doc­u­ments such as can­di­date’s doc­u­mented achieve­ments, etc.
