Exclusive Briefing with Insurance Leaders and MII Members on MII Transformation Blueprint
For more than four decades, The Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) has spearheaded the development of insurance education and training in Malaysia. The journey has been rewarding and the many achievements were possible due to the strong support from the industry and its members. It is now time for MII to embark on a transformation journey to the next level and the transformation blueprint is ready to be shared for further feedback.
With that regards, MII organised a threeday Exclusive Briefing on MII Transformation Blueprint on 14 to 16 August 2012 at Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur. The briefing was conducted with the aims to share with the Malaysian insurance industry, the new MII Transformation Blueprint for the industry feedback and endorsement as well as to further explain the MII qualification framework for an indisputable leadership position in professional standards and education. The briefing was conducted by Prof Datuk Razali Mahfar, the appointed consultant for the project.
The sessions were successfully organised with participation of 22 MII Fellow and Associate members and 68 industry leaders consisting of associations committees, managers, senior managers, CEO and COO of insurance companies and takaful providers.
The Blueprint will also illustrate the strengthening of MII governance as the nation’s leading insurance professional body and education institution complying with the relevant laws and supporting the Financial Sector Blueprint by BNM.
