BANK NE­GARA LAUNCHES THREE MO­BILE APPS TO FA­CIL­I­TATE FI­NAN­CIAL CON­SUMERS

Bank Ne­gara Malaysia (BNM) has in­tro­duced three new mo­bile ap­pli­ca­tions to help con­sumers in mak­ing in­formed fi­nan­cial de­ci­sions. The mo­bile apps are MyBNM, BNM MyLINK and MyTabung. In a state­ment, BNM said the de­vel­op­ment of mo­bile ap­pli­ca­tions was aimed to equip wider seg­ments of the pop­u­la­tion with the nec­es­sary knowl­edge, skills and tools to make smart and pru­dent fi­nan­cial de­ci­sions by lever­ag­ing on the ad­vance­ment in tech­nol­ogy. MyBNM al­lows con­sumers to keep abreast with the lat­est fi­nan­cial news in­clud­ing an­nounce­ments, speeches, in­ter­views, re­leases, fraud alerts, and for­eign ex­change rates, among oth­ers. Con­sumers will also re­ceive up­dates on mon­e­tary and fi­nan­cial poli­cies via the app.
