ABOUT THE PRO­GRAMME

Insurance - - MII HIGHLIGHTS -

DMII is a tech­ni­cal and su­per­vi­sory qual­i­fi­ca­tion, de­vel­oped with the ob­jec­tive of pro­vid­ing stu­dents with firm ground­ing in in­surance fun­da­men­tals, thus en­abling them to build to­wards ad­vanced tech­ni­cal knowl­edge in in­surance. DMII is ideal for staff of in­surance com­pa­nies who need the tech­ni­cal knowl­edge and prac­ti­cal skills at the op­er­a­tion level, as well as those who are look­ing to build a ca­reer with a fu­ture su­per­vi­sory role in mind. The pro­gramme has been de­signed in con­sul­ta­tion with em­ploy­ers to en­sure that par­tic­i­pants gain rel­e­vant com­pe­ten­cies for var­i­ous roles in their in­surance ca­reer. Stu­dents may choose to pro­ceed into the As­so­ci­ate­ship pro­gramme and earn an ad­vanced qual­i­fi­ca­tion. With only 6 ad­di­tional in­surance sub­jects of 30 cred­its each, the AMII can be earned.

Whilst, AMII is de­signed to pro­duce highly qual­i­fied and ca­pa­ble in­di­vid­u­als who will be able to meet the chal­lenges of rapid growth and sus­tain­able progress in the global in­surance in­dus­try. Th­ese cour­ses are con­ducted through for­mal lec­tures, stu­dents par­tic­i­pates in dis­cus­sions, class ac­tiv­i­ties, tu­to­rial, test, as­sign­ments and fi­nal ex­am­i­na­tion. All lec­tures are con­ducted in English by prac­ti­tion­ers who are highly qual­i­fied and ex­pe­ri­ence. Credit ex­emp­tions may be awarded for prior learn­ing by sub­mit­ting the ex­emp­tion form with the nec­es­sary sup­port­ing doc­u­ments.
