APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR ICNZ AND ANZIIF SCHOLARSHIP
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) and the Insurance Council of New Zealand (ICNZ) announced submissions are open for its 2017 scholarship.
Created to inspire and build leadership potential among young insurance professionals and to provide support in helping them achieve their goals, the scholarship offers a prize of NZ$10,000 to attend an international industry event, leadership conference or seminar programme.
“The scholarship will not only give the winner new skills and knowledge to help them to develop their leadership abilities, it will also enhance their understanding of the industry in a global context, and allow them to represent New Zealand among their international counterparts,” said Tim Grafton, ICNZ Chief Executive.
“In today’s global market, the opportunity for the next generation of insurance leaders to grow and develop their leadership skills, international business networks, and industry knowledge is invaluable,” said ANZIIF CEO Prue Willsford.
To apply, entrants must submit a 2,500-word essay in response to a provided question surrounding technology and regulation changing competitive landscape and leading insurers and brokers to evaluate their business strategy at a fundamental level.
Applications close on 30 October 2017 with the winner announced in late 2017.
