Situated just two kilometers from KLIA Main, the 257,000 square-meter building with aerobridges and other support facilities was built to replace the Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) and redefine the growing need for a relaxing traveller experience throughout Malaysia.

KLIA2 is built to handle as whopping 45 million passengers a year – three times more than the old Low-Cost airport – and it has the flexibility to expand further based on capacity growth, airline projections and future l ow cost travel trends.

It is meant to be the largest purpose-built terminal for low cost travel in the world and it is also the first airport in the world to allow an easy direct connectivity between full service and low cost airlines. KLIA2 is designed, not only for customer comfort and convenience, but to radically ease the flow of passengers and keep you entertained while you are out there.

KLIA2 goes by an “Airport in a Mall / Mall in an Airport” concept, and its easy atmosphere is set to revolutionize your usual airport shopping experience. Let’s face it, with some 35,200 square meters of space dedicated to retail including food and beverage outlets and a fully stocked supermarket as part of Malaysia, you will be hard-pressed to find better shopping anywhere in KL.

To sum it up, it is a great last-stop for all your shopping needs and indulgences so do look out for any last minute shopping or gifts.
