Many shops on this itinerary don’t open until midday and are closed Sundays. Start on the corner of Erskine Rd and South Bridge Rd; head up Erskine to Egg3 at #01-10 / 6536 6977 / eggthree.com / for modish designer decor and objets. On now to the corner to find The Scarlet hotel at 33 Erskine Rd, good for a rooftop sip at Breeze (see Bars). Skip left onto Ann Siang and at the corner you’ll see the red and white 1900s heritage facade of The Club Hotel at #28 (see Accom.) with more alfresco beverages on the roof at Tiger’s Milk. Hangry? Swivel right on Ann Siang Rd and into the park for Ps.café (see Lunch, no kids allowed at this branch) if not, zip left. You’ll spy the Screening Room at #12 / 6221 1694 / screeningroom.com.sg / with jaunty rooftop bar and cinema. At the junction, hairpin sharp right into red-bricked pedestrian path Ann Siang Hill for The Little Dröm Store at #7 / 6225 5541 / a retail dream of retro toys, togs and accessories. Back to the junction and turn right into Club St to find on the left at #94 Wild Child / 6227 3163 / wildchild.com.sg / with custom bedding service; at #88 is Mythology for ethnic-chic galwear. Keep on Club St another 60m and then turn right onto Gemmill Lane. On the corner at #2 you’ll spot cosy, affordable Gallic bistro O’batignolles, or further on at #20 find Luke’s Oyster Bar & Chop House / 6221 4468 / lukes.com.sg / for... duh! or call it quits at Le Spa / 6222 6803 / with a frisky foot rub.
