TATLER TIPS

There’s a lot for vegetarians and numerous signature dishes that take in classics such as osso bucco along with a few surprises.

There are pizzas and pastas galore, but it’s the risottos that are perhaps the most worthy of investigation. Try the risotto nero, with squid ink providing the drama and citrus flavours enhancing the natural succulence of lobster and squid. Diners looking for the more standard risotto should check out the signature version with porcini mushrooms. The restaurant is justifiably proud of its tiramisu ‘1956’, where Illy coffee makes all the difference. Those who can really handle a dramatic end may be up to this layered version of tiramisu combined with pannacotta and chocolate mousse. A truly grand finale.
