The sig­na­ture grilled An­gus ten­der­loin with foie gras is a sound choice with juicy, flavour­ful meat ex­pertly cooked. Note­wor­thy cur­tain-rais­ers to savour in­clude the full-bod­ied lob­ster bisque, and scal­lops served with de­li­cious crab tartare or seared and crusted with wasabi-in­fused herbed crust. Plump, sweet and ten­der, the shell­fish boasts spot-on done­ness, com­mend­able proof of the chef’s ex­per­tise. The hazel­nut ice globe with Morella cher­ries and vanilla anglaise makes for a rel­a­tively light treat to wrap up din­ner.
