Mam San serves up South­east Asian clas­sics with a twist, along with an in­ter­est­ing se­lec­tion of cock­tails. You will need reser­va­tions as it is typ­i­cally full for lunch and din­ner.

The sig­na­ture salad of soft shell crab and veg­eta­bles dressed in a ro­jak sauce, and the Viet­namese duck with green mango, car­rot, co­rian­der and shrimp in a nouc cham dress­ing are both out­stand­ing and well worth the wait. Or­der some rice and fol­low up with the wood-roasted Ba­li­nese-style barramundi, the Mas­saman chicken curry, and the Sichuan braised egg­plant with dark soy sauce. The desserts are ex­cel­lent. Try the In­done­sian co­conut tart and Mama San’s in­no­va­tive take on fresh mango with sticky rice and black sesame ice cream.
