Food may be the last thing on your mind when you book a window seat 56 stories high in Petronas Tower 3, but rest assured that this Malaysian outpost of Chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa’s famous Nobu restaurant will not disappoint.

Japanese tradition gets a sexy Peruvian update at Nobu—think ceviches with yuzu, and jalepeno chillies to wake up your tastebuds—and the results are simply delicious.

Don’t leave without sampling the Nobu classics. The bestknown one that has since popped up on every other menu is probably the rich, umami-laden black cod with miso. Another sound bet is the “squid pasta” in light garlic sauce. When it comes to sushi and sashimi, Japanese excellence and attention to detail prevail. Sea urchin, or uni, is the ultimate yardstick, and in this case, Nobu passes the test with flying colours with very fresh uni served very cold.
