WHAT TO ORDER
The crispy fried soft shell crab is a little salty on its own but balances well with the sour mango. The accompanying salad of mangoes and carrots is fresh and crunchy, and the dressing, with a bit of chilli, adds a kick to the dish.
The pan-seared Atlantic cod fish is fresh, flaky and tender. The chive beurre blanc sauce is buttery and lemony, very rich and complements the fish very well. The Australian Black Angus ribeye is best cooked to a medium and pink in the middle evenly. It is tender, juicy and well-seasoned. The grilled vegetables and roasted potatoes are nicely cooked and seasoned very well, a perfect combination with the beef.
The asam pedas sauce has a lovely texture, its balance of sour and heat level is on point. The dish comes with rice, keropok, pickles, sambal belacan, tempe and steamed ladies fingers. Eaten together, all elements make for a delicious mouthful.
The Chocolate Dome is filled with a smooth and light chocolate mousse, and has a thin chocolate cake base, which is moist and tasty.
