Fit for a Queen
Discover the exquisite jewellery piece from Cartier which can be worn as a tiara or necklace
This spectacular piece, presented by Cartier at the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris, is a transformable piece of jewellery that can be worn as a tiara or a necklace. The central pearl, still in its original diamond setting, is said to have once belonged to Queen Mary of England, wife of George V, who passed it down to her daughter. It can be detached from the main structure and worn as a pendant. Measuring an impressive 21.82 x 17.6 x 16.4mm, the natural pearl is considered to be one of the most beautiful ever discovered due to its perfectly symmetrical shape and lustre. Along with the pearl, the piece is set with diamonds and smaller pearls in gradating hues.
