Daryl Yeap’s sense of style is driven by his preference for simplicity and practicality
Suave, neat and always very pleasing to the eye, Daryl Yeap is a man who knows what he wants when it comes to fashion. “I am a very practical man, I try not to go overboard with everyday wear, but I do go for more expensive accessories to elevate my style. This is where the nice belts, good watches and shoes come into play,” explains Yeap when describing his sense of style. As someone who believes that a good watch says a lot about a man, Yeap’s advice to men is to never look down on accessories and how important a role they play in one’s dressing. A fan of David Beckham’s style, Yeap admits that the current fashion scene in Kuala Lumpur can get a little overwhelming for him. Staying true to his rule of thumb, which is to have only one loud colour at a go, Yeap shares, “If I were to wear a pair of red pants for example, my shirt, jacket and everything else will be in a neutral tone.”
