Hans Isaac: I have no plans to take legal action
KUALA LUMPUR: After yesterday’s pandemonium which saw massive chatter on social media, groom-tobe Datuk Hans Isaac has no plans to take any legal action against anyone.
“I have no reason, at this point, to take any legal action against anyone, although I am taking legal advice,” he said in a statement.
On Monday, a few hours after Isaac, 45, and his fiancee, Aileen Gabriella Robinson, 28, announced their upcoming marriage, a man by the name of Robin Coenraad had posted on his Facebook account, claiming that Robinson, who was said to be his girlfriend at the time, had been two-timing him with Isaac.
Robinson, according to Isaac, had however, instructed her legal team to send over a letter of demand to Coenraad for an apology and an extraction of all published comments and personal photos in regards to her past.
“Personally, I find what the ‘said person’ did on Facebook quite abhorrent and juvenile.
“It not only reflects badly on him, but also sets a very bad example,” said the actor-producer.
Isaac said that he had known about Coenraad a few months before he (Isaac) and Robinson even became an item.
“We all have our pasts which have helped shape us into the people we are today.
“I take Gabby as the person she is today and from the time I have become close to her.
“We have been very open with each other with respect to our pasts, and have agreed to respect those decisions made in each other’s lives before we decided to commit to each other.”
Isaac also apologised for rejecting calls from the press.
“I don’t usually release statements regarding my personal life, but I really need to be consistent and fair to all media parties.”
Despite the sour incident, Isaac is looking forward to their big day on July 29.
“We are extremely excited to arrange this wedding and be surrounded by all our loved ones as we come together to celebrate this occasion,” he said.
