Bid to sell Apollo Hospitals stake
SINGAPORE: A unit of Malaysian sovereign fund Khazanah Nasional Bhd has launched a block deal to sell US$160 million (RM712.72 million) worth of shares in India’s Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd, a deal term sheet seen by Thomson Reuters publication IFR showed on Thursday.
Integrated (Mauritius) Healthcare Holdings Ltd is selling about 8.4 million shares, or a six per cent stake, in the hospital chain operator, with an option to upsize for an undisclosed amount, the term sheet showed.
As at end-December, the Khazanah unit owned 10.94 per cent of Apollo Hospitals. The shares are being sold from 1,267 rupees (RM84.42) to 1,320 rupees each.
Apollo Hospitals shares fell 0.4 per cent to 1,320.55 rupees on Thursday.
Integrated (Mauritius) Healthcare Holdings Ltd is selling shares in Apollo Hospitals at 1,267 rupees to 1,320 rupees each.
