Ng failed to make the women’s 3m spring­board in­di­vid­ual fi­nal in the Bei­jing leg of the Div­ing World Se­ries yes­ter­day.

A fi­nal­ist in the Rio Olympics last Au­gust, the diver was placed fifth with a 280.50 to­tal in the first semi-fi­nal heat.

Canada’s Jen­nifer Abel topped the heat with 333.10 points.

Join­ing Abel in the top-six fi­nal were Australia’s Esther Qin of Australia (329.10) and Bri­tain’s Kather­ine Tor­rance (325.80).

Pan­delela Ri­nong and Nur Dhabitah Sabri will com­pete in the women’s 10m plat­form in­di­vid­ual event to­day.

Pan­delela part­nered Cheong Jun Hoong for the sil­ver in the 10m plat­form syn­chro fi­nal on Fri­day.

In the men’s 3m spring­board syn­chro fi­nal yes­ter­day, China’s Cao Yuan-Xie Siyi won gold by post­ing 450.39 points, fol­lowed by Bri­tain’s Jack Laugher-Chris Mears (427.98) and Rus­sia’s Ilia Zakharov-Ev­genii Kuznetsov (419.25).
