New ves­sels for MMEA

PORT KLANG: The Malaysian Mar­itime En­force­ment Agency (MMEA) is phas­ing out its old ves­sels in stages.

Out of 255 as­sets that the agency had, more than 60 per cent of them were aged 35 years and above.

MMEA di­rec­tor-gen­eral Ad­mi­ral Datuk Seri Puzi Ka­har said the ar­rival of new pa­trol ves­sels in its fleet would en­able the agency to per­form bet­ter in en­sur­ing se­cu­rity and peace in Malaysian waters.
