U-turn poser for motorists with completion of new road
reSideNtS of several villages voiced out the need for traffic lights at junctions leading to villages along the new Pan-Borneo Highway, which will be completed here soon.
Once the project was completed, affected villagers coming from Donggongon town would have to drive farther before making U-turns to return to their homes on the opposite side of the road.
A man, who only wanted to be known as Simon, from Kampung Limbanak said massive bottleneck situations during peak hours could be expected as motorists would have to make U-turns along the route.
He added areas around Kampung Limbanak alone had a large population of about 1,000 families, two schools, a clinic and a church.
