JOHOR PORT WINS EXCELLENCE AWARD
Company provides comprehensive range of services to meet clients’ needs
JOHOR Port Bhd, a member of MMC Group, has bagged the Industry Excellence Award for service sector under the category for sales turnover of over RM100 million, at the Anugerah Kecemerlangan Industri 2016 (AKI) award presentation ceremony recently.
“We are truly excited to have received this award as it signifies the port’s outstanding presence in the industry and our unwavering commitment in raising higher standards to provide valueadded quality services for customers’ satisfaction,” said MMC group adviser Tan Sri Syed Abdul Jabbar Syed Hassan.
“The port is an integrated multi-purpose facility, which is located at the southeastern tip of Peninsular Malaysia, providing a comprehensive range of port services to meet the needs of its clients,” he said.
AKI was first introduced by the International Trade and Industry Ministry in 1991 to recognise outstanding Malaysian companies, and to encourage continuous improvement in products and services rendered.
Over the years, AKI has built its reputation as the nation’s premier corporate recognition award. The event also brought together members from various manufacturing and services sectors, and to recognise these companies’ valuable contribution and achievements.
