Illegal parking causes snarl

New Straits Times - - News -

PIC COURTESY OF NST READER PeoPle who illegally park their vehicles in a street next to the Kota Kinabalu City Hall building here are causing traffic congestion, a motorist claimed.

The motorist, who identified himself as Peter, said Lintasan Deasoka was a busy stretch and the indiscriminate parking on the side of the road made things worse.

“It affects traffic flow from Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens to Jalan Pantai, especially during peak hours.

“Motorists propbably park in the area to settle matters at City Hall. There are not enough parking bays. City Hall should monitor the stretch or take action.”

Peter also claimed that City Hall vehicles also park on the stretch.

Drivers are parking their vehicles indiscriminately at Lintasan Deasoka next to the Kota Kinabalu City Hall building.
