CIMB Cy­cle may be an­nual af­fair due to re­sponse

KUALA PI­LAH: Buoyed by the suc­cess of the in­au­gu­ral CIMB Cy­cle 2017 at Seri Menanti here yes­ter­day, the CIMB Group looks set to or­gan­ise the event an­nu­ally.

CIMB Group chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz said the event sur­passed ex­pec­ta­tions, at­tract­ing more than 1,300 cy­clists.

“We will hold the event next year and my team will get feed­back from the riders on whether they want to try an­other route.

“We plan to make CIMB Cy­cle a yearly event and look for­ward to hav­ing it in dif­fer­ent lo­ca­tions in Malaysia and the re­gion,” Zafrul told the New Straits Times on the side­lines of the event here yes­ter­day.

CIMB Cy­cle 2017 was flagged off by Ne­gri Sem­bi­lan Yang diPer­tuan Be­sar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Mu­nawir and Tunku Am­puan Be­sar Tengku Aishah Ro­hani Tengku Be­sar Mah­mud.
