‘Kit Siang failed to dislodge BN in 13 general elections’
KUALA LUMPUR: DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang is not qualified to teach anyone about “strategy” as the party has never defeated Barisan Nasional in the past 13 general elections.
Minister in Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan said the DAP veteran should realise the party lost because he (Lim) was part of DAP’s “problems”, not the solution.
“Everyone knows he’s in charge of DAP. He has been tested 13 times, and yet, he failed every time. So, I don’t need strategic lessons from him.
“And, when is he going to say ‘I’m going to throw in the towel’? He’s been active in politics for 51 years, and yet, he failed to dislodge BN,” he said.
Rahman, who is also BN strategic communications director, was responding to Lim’s remark in Parliament yesterday, where the latter had offered a “free tuition course on the meaning of strategic” to the former.
This was following Rahman’s claim that Lim had masterminded an electoral fraud in the DAP party elections in 2012.
Lim has denied the allegation and described Rahman’s claim as “strategic lies” to demonise him.
Commenting on Lim’s remark,
