Kamini set to re­alise her dream

KAMINI Sri Se­garan has taken a step fur­ther in her en­deav­our to be a bet­ter judo ex­po­nent as she has de­cided to pur­sue a one-year study-cum- train­ing pro­gramme to ob­tain the Budo Spe­cial­i­sa­tion Course cer­tifi­cate at the In­ter­na­tional Budo Univer­sity in Kat­sura, Ja­pan.

The cen­tre is re­garded as the most pres­ti­gious univer­sity for judo in Ja­pan.

Kamini, 20, first rep­re­sented Pe­nang at the 2011 Malaysia Games and won sil­ver in the 2013 edi­tion in Kuala Lumpur.

Re­cently, she won bronze at the Na­tional Cham­pi­onships in Tereng­ganu.
