Zulfahmi seeks redemption in Spain
WORLD Superbike Championship rider Zulfahmi Khairuddin is frustrated after only collecting four points from two races and wants to prove his worth at this weekend’s round three in Aragon, Spain.
“I only have four points, that’s so little and we’re far from our target so I’m hoping the third round goes smoothly so I can collect more points,” he said.
Two weeks ago, the 25-yearold failed to complete his race and recorded his first DNF of the season after suffering mechanical problems on lap 15.
Meanwhile in Philip Island, Australia, Zulfahmi collected four points after finishing 12th on his Kawasaki ZX-6R machine.
The former Moto2 racer can only hope that the race in Spain will turn things around for him.
“I’m sure the team are aware of the problem that presented itself and I’m sure the bike will be in a competitive state going into round three.” Farah Azharie
