Daikin relaunches central air-conditioning system

KUALA LUMPUR: Daikin Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a pioneer in the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning industry, has reintroduced its latest technology series — Daikin home central air-conditioning system (HCAC).

The HCAC is a centralised system that can support up to 12 horsepower air conditioners. Unlike the conventional system that requires one compressor for an indoor unit, this system enables the reduction of the outdoor compressor unit, which gives houses a neat and minimalistic outlook.

Daikin Malaysia chief operating officer Ooi Cheng Suan said the system provided the cooling comfort that seamlessly integrated with the desired design, allowing home owners individuality, creativity and uniqueness without any obstruction of air conditioning unit.

“With most modern houses fitted with an air-conditioning unit, we are continuously innovating products to be at par with design trends, user requirements and functionality.

“The beauty is that it provides a perfect combination of design and practicality, allowing house owners to push the boundaries of creativity in their design,” he said.

The new technology is on display at a live container home — Daikin home central concept home — to encourage interior designers, architects and house owners to push the boundaries of creativity.

The Daikin home central concept home showcases the system’s flexibility and multifunction usage of each air-conditioning unit, which is specifically designed for different areas.

It showcased six air-conditioning units, including moisture control intelligent 3D air-flow ceiling mounted duct (living room), intelligent 3D air-flow ceiling mounted duct (bedroom) and ventilating moisture control bathroom ceiling mounted cassette (bathroom).

Others are high durability moisture control kitchen ceiling mounted cassette (kitchen), moisture control closet ceiling mounted cassette (walk-in wardrobe) and compact ceiling mounted duct (discussion room).

The HCAC is a centralised system that can support up to 12 horsepower air conditioners.
