Kuroda: Head­ing ADB more ex­cit­ing

YOKO­HAMA: Haruhiko Kuroda joked on Satur­day that his pre­vi­ous role run­ning the Asian De­vel­op­ment Bank (ADB) was more ex­cit­ing than his cur­rent role of Bank of Ja­pan (BoJ) gover­nor. Kuroda was speak­ing at the ADB’s an­nual meet­ing, here. He led ADB from 2005 un­til 2013. Kuroda also reaf­firmed BoJ’s April fore­cast that in­fla­tion in Ja­pan should reach the two per cent tar­get in around the fis­cal year that starts in April 2018 and end­ing in March 2019.
