A FRE­QUENT user of the North­South Ex­press­way has sug­gested that Plus Malaysia Bhd put up a SmartTAG lane on the far left of the Jalan Duta toll plaza.

Ah Chong told Ac­tion­line that it was dif­fi­cult for v users to stop at the petrol sta­tion just af­ter the plaza.

“We have to inch our way to the left af­ter get­ting through the SmartTAG lanes and that is dan­ger­ous since Touch ’n Go users ac­cel­er­ate af­ter pass­ing through the toll.

“Fur­ther­more, heavy ve­hi­cles block the two left lanes,” he said.

He added the only other way for SmartTAG users to use the petrol sta­tion was to use the last lane, which “de­feats the pur­pose of hav­ing SmartTAG”.

Also, Chong said that Touch ’n Go cards should be avail­able for reload on­line.

“Ev­ery­thing is now done on­line, so I don’t un­der­stand why this ser­vice is not avail­able.
