RESIDENTS of Jalan Sungai Mulia 4, Kg Sungai Mulia in Gombak will experience water disruption from 10pm tomorrow until 4am the next day. The water disruption is due to scheduled pipe relocation works by Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas).

“Consumers are advised to keep sufficient water supply and to use water prudently.

“Those seeking further information on the scheduled works can visit www.syabas.com.my, Facebook page @AirSelangor or Twitter @air_selangor,” it said.

Information is also available on the mySyabas app, available on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. It’s a drain, not a waste bin. Residents of Section 7, Shah Alam, are concerned about garbage being thrown into a drain in front of their houses. ‘Irresponsible people are throwing styrofoam food containers and water bottles in this drain. It’s causing water to stagnate, becoming the perfect breeding ground for Aedes mosquitoes. This may be why Section 7 recorded one of the highest rates of dengue cases in Selangor,’ says a resident.
