Strength­en­ing NSTP-Bank Rakyat ties

Nizam also said Bank Rakyat was hop­ing that such an event would con­tinue in the fu­ture as an an­nual ac­tiv­ity, adding that it would also at­tract more peo­ple to par­tic­i­pate in cy­cling events.

The race kits were handed over to the bank staff by NSTP ad­ver­tise­ment sales as­sis­tant man­ager Raja Nu­rul Hi­dayah Raja Nordin yes­ter­day.

The much-an­tic­i­pated in­au­gu­ral event, or­gan­ised in part­ner­ship with Eco World De­vel­op­ment Group Ber­had, and cospon­sored by Bank Rakyat and Volk­swa­gen, will be held at Eco Grandeur in Pun­cak Alam.

About 1,200 par­tic­i­pants have col­lected their race kits yes­ter­day.

The kits con­tain a draw­string back­pack, race jer­sey, cy­cling cap, race plate and bib num­ber for the Cen­tury Ride cat­e­gory, while the Fun Ride cat­e­gory con­sisted of a draw­string back­pack, Tshirt and plate num­ber. The event will be flagged off at 7.30am and par­tic­i­pants must be at the start­ing point, Eco Grandeur, 20 min­utes be­fore the flag-off.
