Water disruption in Kuala Langat

New Straits Times - - News - New Straits Times, 31, Jalan Riong 59100 Kuala Lumpur

The run-down condition of shoplots creates an eerie mood along Jalan Tanjung Tokong in George Town, Penang. Empty and dilapidated, they are an eyesore. “The shoplots have been in that state for some time and I wonder why nothing is being done about it. George Town is a go-to place for tourists who visit the state. We should be ashamed for having such an ugly sight here,” said a local. SOME Kuala Langat residents should expect water disruption tomorrow from 9am to 5pm.

The disruption is due to pipe cleaning works by Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas).

The area which will be affected is Bandar Banting Baru.

“Consumers are advised to keep sufficient water supply,” Syabas said in a statement.

For information on scheduled disruptions, consumers can visit www.syabas.com.my, Syabas official Facebook page at Air Selangor; or Twitter @air_selangor.
