‘No to plas­tic’ Ra­madan drive

ECOKNIGHTS has started its Green Ra­madan cam­paign themed Beg2Bekas (B2B) to foster eco­log­i­cal con­scious­ness dur­ing the up­com­ing fast­ing month.

It calls for Ra­madan bazaar go­ers to bring their own “beg” (shop­ping bag) and “bekas” (food con­tainer) to re­duce the use of plas­tic bags.

EcoKnights, a non-gov­ern­men­tal or­gan­i­sa­tion, hopes to raise eco­log­i­cal aware­ness as well as em­power Malaysians to adopt and em­brace a sus­tain­abil­ity lifestyle by say­ing no to plas­tic.

The B2B cam­paign re­volves around key mes­sages of moder­a­tion, com­pas­sion and unity.
