‘No to plastic’ Ramadan drive
ECOKNIGHTS has started its Green Ramadan campaign themed Beg2Bekas (B2B) to foster ecological consciousness during the upcoming fasting month.
It calls for Ramadan bazaar goers to bring their own “beg” (shopping bag) and “bekas” (food container) to reduce the use of plastic bags.
EcoKnights, a non-governmental organisation, hopes to raise ecological awareness as well as empower Malaysians to adopt and embrace a sustainability lifestyle by saying no to plastic.
The B2B campaign revolves around key messages of moderation, compassion and unity.
